Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders also include Constipation. It is a passage of movements performed by the bowel. Constipation also defines the passage that notifies the movements not done by the bowel. This situation takes place when a person takes a diet that has fiber in an inadequate amount. Routine changes can also lead to constipation. Constipation make a person feel strain each time there is a movement in the bowel. However, it is not a condition that can make a person worry a lot about it.

Treatment procedure for constipation includes regular exercise, shifting bowels, increasing the amount of fiber in the diet, and several other ways of treatment are there for this kind of functional Gastrointestinal Disorders. There might be a situation that these treatment methods may not work for a person, then that person has to look for laxatives as a temporary form of solution.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Irritable bowel syndrome is another alternative form of functional Gastrointestinal Disorders. In this condition, the person that does not have IBS will notice contracting of colon muscles. Factors that can trigger IBS include emotional stress, changes in diet, and medicines. People that have IBS can also have diarrhea and constipation as an alternate.

IBS treatment involves diet with a lot of fiber. One should also avoid taking foods that can trigger IBS. A person will have to learn how to cope with situations that involve a lot of stress. Provider of health care may also suggest some medicines in the prescriptions given to the patient.

Another significant disorder condition is the Structural disorders under functional Gastrointestinal Disorders . Structural disorders disable the bowel from working properly, and the bowel also may not be in a normal condition. It can require the patient to get surgical treatment. Structural disorders that lay affects on the anus get the consideration of being the most common disorders of all. Structural disorders may not have a lot of signs and symptoms.
